Training - A Reminder.

Gents, As you all know, pre season training recommenced on Saturday 26th June. Currently it is being held in Wallace Park on Saturdays,Tuesdays and Thursdays; however there is NO training bewteen Saturday 10th July and Saturday 17th July,dates inclusive. Training resumes on Tuesday 20th July at 18:45 sharp. The turnouts for the initial sessions were very encouraging but dropped off alarmingly in the week prior to our break. There are a number of high profile pre season friendlies coming up soon and I've no doubt there will be no shortage of players looking to participate. I can only reiterate to you all, that pre season training is no different from training during the season i.e if you cannot attend then you should be letting the managers know as soon as possible, otherwise you will slip down the pecking order for selection - even for friendlies. I know that some people are on holiday and that's OK, but if you are going on holiday then let the managers know. The World Cup has finished and if you are committed to playing football for Wesley FC this coming season then you need to demonstrate that committment in the first instance by attending training.Hard work put in now will reap benefits as the season progresses - everthing is in place for training,the only thing missing is you.
